Not comparing... just remembering

Jaycie had her appointment today. In the past 11 days she has gained 11oz... THATS GREAT! Zantac must be working! We upped her meds because she still has not had the results we want from it (ie showing signs of pain still).

Lets see how all the kids were at there 6 months...

Alexis @ 6months 17lbs 5oz and 27 3/4 inches long. (She was up 9lbs 13oz from birth) She was on her 3rd tooth and pulling up on furniture.
(Alexis looks alot like Jaycie here)

Hunter @ 6 months 17lbs 7oz and 27 inches long. (He was up 8lbs 8oz from birth) He was cutting his first tooth and army crawling and just starting to pull himself up on furniture.
(Then again Jaycie looks like Hunter, especially the BIG eyes)

Tate @ 6 months 18lbs 2oz. (He was up 11lbs 14oz from birth) He had no teeth and was sitting up selectively (when he wanted) I believe this is when Tate was at his CHUNKY-ist

Jaycie @ 6 months was 12lbs 10 oz and 24 1/2 inches long. (She is up 8lbs 13oz)

6 months!

6 months ago if you would have told me I was going to have my baby today... I would have never believed it. Jaycie is doing well and no one can tell she was premature. She looks like her adjusted age at 4 months and is doing well for everything she has endured.

Jaycie is 12lbs something right now (we have her actual 6 month appointment tomorrow)
Jaycie is so close to sitting up... but not quite there. She loves constant attention and isnt a self intertainer at all ( she had enough of that the 7 weeks in the NICU). She enjoys watching her brothers and sister and although can become frustrated with them quickly she still likes the entertainment she gets from them.

She is nursing full time unless I am at work and she is getting her fortified breast milk (breast milk with added calories). About a month ago she wasnt doing well with "regular" fluids but we tried it this past week (pedialyte, water ect.) and she can now drink the "thin" liquids without any problems, which makes me happy. She gets very excited when she sees her medicine dropper coming her way (Zantac)

She is rolling from back to tummy now which makes her feel proud!

Her nicknames are "the baby" (hunter), Jaycer (Matt and I), Jaycie baby Dani girl (Grandma).

Time is flying!

Hunters soccer is over for the season. He has trophy day tomorrow and then we will take a break from soccer until after summer. We did sign him up for a preschool that he'll do this summer for 8 weeks so that will keep him busy.

Alexis has her 3rd recital this year. I cant wait to see all her on stage and see how hard she worked this past year.

Jaycie is going to be 6 months old in a little over a week. I just cant beieve it. This is her first week since coming home from the NICU that she isnt "PROTECTED" against RSV with the synagis.

Tate has been going off and on the potty since he was about 18 months old. We never fully potty trained him because its hard with little kids. I am in the middle of nursing Jaycie and he has to potty and needs help and... I know... NOT a good reason. BUT we fully intend on having him potty trained by the end of this month. He is ready and does great at it... now the ball is in Matts and my court and we are gonna go with it. Tate had his first outing with underwear on and NO accidents. We left the house at 2pm and didnt get back until around 6pm... HE DID GREAT! Letting me know all along the way he had to pee ( even on the road where we had to pull over for him to pee)

Gotta love the kids!
