Its the most wonderful time of the YEAR

Well the family is good! Matt is at his permanent store for the time being so thats good. We will see how it goes. So far he describes work at Staples "Better Quality of Life" because of the better hours... the way they treat the management and the fact he sees us.

I am slacking on the Christmas decorating. I really need to start. Ive just been.... yeah you guessed it BUSY! Its a good busy tho you know. We are signing Hunter up for some clinics (Soccer, T-ball, Basketball) Then between Alexis' school and dance... well... you have to fit work in there and when you get the chance you sleep. So life IS busy.

I picked up an extra shift last night... Im trying to save up for a Christmas present for Matt. EVERY year we are tight around Christmas so Every year Matt and I tell each other not to get anything for us. BUT this year... I gotta surprise that boy... He works so hard and never complains and is such a great dad and a great husband... I cant wait to get him something he'll love.

How time flys...

Doesnt everyone say this? Time flys. But.... IT REALLYS DOES. The older I get the quicker life is going by. We just celebrated Tates 1st birthday and now he is 13 1/2 months old. Its almost Thanksgiving... GOODNESS. Alexis has her first School pictures tomorrow. Uhhhh what? Talk about OLD! I REALLY REALLY need to put some pictures up. Actually that'll be my mission tomorrow... PICTURES! You'll see

The art of baby language

I love when babies first learn to talk. The mama. The dada. The cute uht ohs! I love the waves and the blowing of the kisses. Oh how they grow up so fast.

When I come home from work. Ive been away from the house 15 hours and all I cant think about on the way home is NOT falling asleep. Then you walk in the door... and you see your babies faces running toward you. Wanting hugs, kisses, lovings.

Its been TOO LONG!

I cant beleive its been almost 3 months since I posted an update. Life has been hecktic in a FUN WAY.

Alexis started preschool and is doing so well. She loves all the crafts and friends. She is so independent and doesnt even look back when I drop her off. She is very helpful around the house with chores.

Hunter is potty trained and we love only having ONE in diapers. He thinks because hes potty trained he should be in preschool too. I told him next year! :) He starts soccer in January and is excited for that.

Tate turned ONE! I know my baby... My little baby boy! He is now 13 months old. I can remember it like yesterday holding my little preemie baby in my hands (oh kay so his size never matched up to being a preemie) He is a sweet little baby!

Matt started a new job at Staples. The drive to Tucson was just TOO Much on us. Circuit City wasnt giving Matt what he deserves. So he is now at Staples and loving it.

Me? Oh Me... I am good. I still get my bubble baths once a month... (maybe once every two months whos counting) I get mutliple kisses everyday from my babies and luver-boy. What else could I ask for!

One fish. Two fish. Red fish. Alexis fish?

This week was a busy one. HA! Arent they all? I have something to share. Alexis. We went swimming over at moms and dads and we took her life vest off and she SWAM! I mean she kept her head above water she did good. I THOUGHT it was a fluke so a few days later we went again. She SWAM again. Keeping her head above water and being like a fish. She tires easy but is doing GREAT! She was proud of herself! We were proud of her to.

Whats on the agenda?

Matt has returned to work and the routine begins again. I took the week off with Matt while he was on vacation and we did a little of this and a little of that. NOTHING too fun. I had LOTS I wanted to do but nothing really got accomplished. Matt got to go jet skiing with my dad and they went Sun/Mon and hit up three lakes. I guess two grown men sleeping in the cab of a truck in the AZ summer during mosquito season ISNT a good idea (think if your windows are down you are bitten up if they are up... you are dying of heat) But they had a blast and cant wait to go again. We also got a few projects done around the house. Other than that we enjoyed each other and had great family time together.

Towards the end of his vacation Matts mom came to watch the kids at night so we could go out. She was spending the night so we could stay out as late as wanted... we had the night to ourselves. How wonderful... TWO dates in a year let alone a MONTH! So... we still had a few things I wanted to do... maybe dinner...movie...bowling...skateland...casino... you know FUN stuff. So first we go to dinner. After dinner we werent really sure WHAT next to do. I said there wasnt really any movies I wanted to see at the time... that and I really DONT enjoy movie theaters. We left to go to dinner at 5pm and was finished by 6:30. After we decided to go bowling but I needed socks so we went to Target. SHOPPING without KIDS? OMG I havent done that in YEARS! Well we got socks and left. Bowling here we come... 3 games later we were tired... sore and... tired. It was 7:50pm so we went to JAMBA juice to try to get a "KICK" Well... we were home by 9pm... and you have to understand that driving To and From home takes an hour each way. So we were gone 5-9 (4 hours) 2 of which are driving... hahah. Yeah we are old! But we had fun!

Where has time gone?

Well Matts on vacation from work so we have been getting alot accomplished. Have we done anything "FUN" yet... NO. However I have a clean house :) Hes gone away tonight with my dad to go Jet Skiing. He'll have fun. When he comes back we will have 4-5 days left of his vacation. And a day of that will be filled with Yardwork and Garage. So Ill have the other 3 or so... and we will go do a family outing and then one will be a Matt and I night. My mother in law is so kind to watch the kids.

Tate is taking more and more steps... Soon he will be "my toddlin toddler" Which of course I have mixed emotions about. Matt and I are ready to get out of the baby stage (since weve been there 3 years now) and ready to watch the children grow... and then you look into his (Tates) eyes and its hard to see him grow. He just turned 10 months old the other day... I honestly dont know where TIME has gone! Hes just such a sweet baby and good natured!

Hunter is getting big himself This past month his vocabulary has EXPLODED! He went pee pee in the potty the other day and we are going to work on potty training this week. I think he may be ready.

Alexis is my artist. She has gone from making lines a few months ago to writing her name and drawing people and trucks and trees and spiders and... well you get the point. She is doing awesome. Id really like to put her in a preschool as soon as finances allow it.
